Wimbledon

On Tuesday me and my family went to Wimbledon!
It was so cool! And a pretty day. When we first got there we waited outside Wimbledon for 2 hours "queuing" and then once we got in we watched the more unimportant matches and then we found a line that we could buy resold tickets for courts no. 1 or center court for 5 pounds! But we waited in a line "queuing" again and the workers kept coming by saying that we were crazy to sit there cause they didn't have any tickets to sell. But the people around us told us to stay because they always say that but they always end up getting some to sell. So we did stay... as a matter of fact we stayed for 4 hours! And finally got tickets to court no. 1 to watch Roddicks match. And we had court side seats and we got to stay in those seats to watch Jankovic's match! So all that waiting payed off!
This is me enjoying my self by playing my DS Light,
at Wimbledon! I have a reason though, my parents
were watching a very boring match.
This is a picture of Jankovic that we took at her match.
And this is the jumbotron outside court no. 1
I just think that it's big and cool!

Speaking In Sacrament Meeting

Yesterday my family was speaking in sacrament. (I know that sounds like us cause I talk a lot)
The subject was family. Then me and Sadie sang "Love Is Spoken Here" And at the end of the song McKay sang the last part all by himself, and it blew me away. It was amazing!!!
And after sacrament meeting lots of people thanked us for the talks and the song, so that was cool.
Then we went to Bray's (A.K.A. our friends) house and it was really fun and it had good food!
So that was my Sunday!

Extremely Random

Random... It wouldn't let me upload even a tiny file but I still want a video. I get the strangest ideas sometimes.

Switzerland

Me and my family took a week trip to Switzerland and it was seriously the most beautiful, amazing, and most unreal thing that I have ever seen! It was fun for my mom to go back because she lived there for a summer and she loved it. We stayed in the mountains and it was so amazing because, one, It was surrounded by mountains, two, all the little houses and shops were so charming, and three, the only way to get from place to place was by train and gondola. Some of the things that we did there are the following, Go to the highest point in Europe called the Jungfrau, went to Bern, the capital of Switzerland, and went to Meiringen, which is the place my mom worked and lived. And while we were there the Euro Cup 2008 was being played in Switzerland and there was a big concert for lots of band like, Linkin Park, 3 Doors Down, and Bullet For My Valentine. So that made things a bit crazy!
This is a picture of part of our cozy little chalet that we rented there.

This is a pretty mountain buy where I stayed in Wegen.
And this is another pretty mountain.
When we first got there my dad saw this store open for the Euro Cup 2008 so he bought McKay and I Swiss Euro Cup 2008 jersey's.
And this is a big waterfall in a place called Latterbrunnen. It was so cool!!!

So, that was our awesome adventure in Switzerland.

Platform 9 3/4

A little while ago I went to Kings Cross Station where Platform 9 3/4 is based and they have the sign and everything. It was funny and cool.

Baptism Day

Yesterday I had the privilege to go to a man named Terry's baptism. Terry has been coming to church for a while now because the two sister missionary's in our ward have been teaching him. My dad was going to baptize Terry but right now my dad is in Dubai for business and one of the sister missionary's are getting changed to Kent. Terry wanted them both there at his baptism so he rescheduled it to yesterday. And because of that my dad did not get to but he will give the holy ghost to him on sunday. It was a nice little baptism. Terry brought his daughter and you could tell that she was a little nervous but when her dad got baptized she started to cry... I don't know if she was angry or happy but she was definitely crying. While Terry was getting changed after he got baptized they opened it up to testimonies and I went up there and just said a short testimony and I made the sister missionary that was leaving, cry. And I can't believe I got up there to bare my testimony again when I had done it in sacrament meeting a last Sunday. I just felt so prompted to go up and share my testimony again. So, it was a great experience for me to go and watch that baptism.

Kew Gardens

Me and my family went to a huge garden on Saturday called Kew gardens and It was really pretty!
While we were at the garden we went on this tree walk that was really high and we were singing the song, in the leafy tree tops. When we got to the top my brother McKay said to my mom, "okay mom this is freaking me out!" It was really pretty up there.
this is us happy children at the bottom of the tree walk.
And this is hansom me by the pond!

This is just us boys at the bottom of a big tower that I don't know the name of. You can't see it in this picture but in the bigger size of it there is an airplane flying right over the tower because Kew gardens is right by Heathrow. (I don't know how to spell that correctly) We could only hold it together for this one last picture as you can tell by the scary look on McKay's face and the cheesy smile on mine!

So we had a fun time. It wasn't as cool as I thought it would be but it was worth my time I think.
